When faced with the challenges of the post-9/11 economic downturn, Shawn’s strategic prowess came to the forefront as he orchestrated a dynamic sales and marketing campaign that revitalized Colortone, leading to an impressive tenfold increase in sales.
Recognizing his exceptional talent, a prominent national leader in the MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) Market recruited Shawn as Director of Business Development. In this influential role, Shawn played a pivotal part in conceptualizing and implementing the world’s first smart building system, setting new industry standards and solidifying his reputation as an expert in innovative solutions for the built environment.
Driven by a thirst for new challenges, Shawn ventured into the vibrant city of Las Vegas, where he assumed the role of Director of Sales and Marketing at a renowned systems integration firm. Despite encountering concealed financial challenges within the company, Shawn’s strategic vision and unwavering dedication left an indelible mark.
Returning to his roots in New York, Shawn joined a leading concierge industry organization, where his collaborative efforts culminated in the creation of the world’s first concierge-based gift card, distributed successfully through major retail stores nationwide.
Shawn’s entrepreneurial spirit reached new heights when he embarked on a journey with Evolution Spirits, a startup aiming to establish its brand, Monkey Rum, in the Florida market. In just four months, Shawn’s dynamic approach and unconventional sales strategies facilitated rapid expansion, securing over 100 off-premise accounts.
Fuelled by his passion for innovation and excellence, Shawn took the bold step of founding BluRack, a distinguished Florida-based liquor distribution company. Under his expert guidance, BluRack has thrived, serving a vast network of more than 2,000 retail accounts and forging strong partnerships with over 50 suppliers. In a move that underscores his strategic acumen, Shawn recently orchestrated a successful merger between BluRack and Green Light Distribution, paving the way for exciting future expansion opportunities.
